Whispers abound that the Touch My Body star is so demanding that her new hubby isn't coping with her diva-like behavior, and has such become a source of ridicule by his friends and associates.
The 38-year-old Diva wed rapper Nick Cannon in a quickie wedding after dating for one month in April this year. A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine, "Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to - he's like her puppy. It seems like he spends more time in the stores with Mariah's credit card than he does with Mariah herself.
"Mariah's assistants and friends call him 'Whipped Nick' behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won't stand up for himself."
Another source reports that Nick is playing personal assistant to his new wife, be it on the set of her music video or running countless errands around town. Mariah is also ruling Nick's career with an iron fist allowing him to only play major venues, and overseeing his career moves.
However, a friend of Nick's has fervently denied the relationship is already in strife, adamant that Nick and Mariah are perfect for each other. The pal said, "Mariah needs someone to dote on her."
